Two tests of the new netbook Dell Inspiron Mini 12":

http://apcmag.com/scoop_we_review_the_inspiron_mini_12__dells_supersized_yet_superslim_12_inch_netbook.htm

Cons:
- Not expendable 1GB RAM
- Not very standard hard drive (1.8")
- Processor not fast enough for Vista
- Too expensive ($654)
Pros:
- New Poulsbo chipset
- Not too small not to big
- Good battery life (5h with the 6 cells)
- Good screen resolution: 1280 x 800
- NO FAN !!!!

Conclusion: the Dell Inspiron Mini 12" as too many flaws but still I predict a great future for this kind of netbook:
9" is too small, 12" is perfect. Intelligent phones like GooglePhone or the IPhone are going to involve and reduce the interest in 7/9" netbooks.
Poulsbo is the first real chipset for the Atom processor and will improve a lot in the near future.
